hi people well im having some problem with my car it idles rough and takes a while to accelerate im a noob to bmw's so dont know alot bout them it just recently started acting like this so can yall lmk what yall think it is thanks
Take the car to have the On Board Diagnostic system scanned for Trouble Codes. These unique codes will help identify the problem and allow you to fix it. Most auto parts stores will scan the car for free.
It could be as simple as a vacuum leak, or you might have a misfire.
Get the car scanned. Any auto store should do it for Free or find some that has SR-300 scanner.
It could be just a bad MAF sensor. They are not expensive, probably around $150 for OEM. (I would not use after market or VW. Just because it fits, it does not mean it would work properly). And it take about 5 min to change it.
