| 1999 5 series water condensation under rear seat
I have a 1999 5 series and just had to have the rear seat leather replaced. When the shop removed the rear seat they discovered a pool of water on the base of the seat. The shop checked the drain lines and door vapor seals.
The drain tubes and seals were all clear and there was no water leaking from those areas. I live in Florida and we just had record rain fall there was no sign of water leaking into the car from any of the normal problem areas.
Three day after the rain stopped and the weather has been very hot and humid, there are signs of condensation water beads forming around the access ports to the fuel tank and from under the sound proofing on the under seat base.
Does anyone have any information on how to correct this problem or has anyone had a similar problem.
