Buckle$$ n00b Join Date: Feb 2010 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	1996 e39 523i keyless entry? I just purchased a German spec 1996 e39 523i and it did not come with any keyless entry fob, I pulled up the back seat to see if I could find any existing OE systems in hopes that the fob was miplaced and as thats where they are in the US models (I've never owned a German spec BMW before) and I didn't see any connectors or electronics at all. Anyone know where the connections are in a German spec BMW (or if it is different at all?) or am I stuck having to install a complete aftermarket system not a plug and play. I searched the forum and can't find a definitive answer to my question and keyless ride comes up empty with my vin (guessing its due to the Euro vin#).
