1995 530i Window Problem

Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to post. I purchased a 1995 530i for my teenage daughter. It has about 150,000 miles on it. Last night in the pouring rain, my daughter rolled the window down and it would not go back up. When she presses the button we can hear the motor but the window does not roll up and it is not visable when I look into the interior part of the track where the window rolls up and down. Any ideas? If I have to have it repaired any ideas of cost?

Likely the window has come off the track. I'd have a look at realoem.com
