| My friend bought a 1995 530i with 145K miles, it has the nikasil engine... he took it in for the engine test and it failed, 30% loss on 2 cyls the rest are ok... My question is that it failed, yes, but with the newer clean gasoline, will the engine continue to deteriorate? How much life can be left in this engine? It does have a very very minor rough idle when it is warm.
