Thanks. Just replaced fuel pump a few months ago. But will go through the fuses. Engine won't even turn over. Will fuel pump stop engine from turning over? Doesn't even clicks. Just beeps and all lights on dash are on.
When you try to turn it over, do the lights dim at all to indicate that a load is being applied to the battery? Can you hear the fuel pump whirring (for ~2 seconds) when you move the key to position II? Stupid question, you do have it in Park (if its an auto)? Might be worth trying it in Neutral.
Is it an automatic or manual? If it is an autimatic do you get any indications in the dash about what gear you have selected? If it doesn`t doesn`t show a letter it might be the electronic gear selector switch by the stick that is faulty (accually had this problem on a 525ix and it took me some time to figure it out), also if you have an originalalarm in it, it could be be an issue with the immobiliser.
