1993 525i Vibration/missfire
Hi.
My e34 which has only 86000 miles on it has had this fault since I bought it a couple of months ago. It has a vibration in the engine, this happens between 2000 and 2500 revs. When I got the car it wasnt firing on pot number 5 so I have changed the coil and the wiring to that pot and changed the injectors. Its running a lot better than it did when I bought it but I just cant sort out the vibration/missfire. any ideas?

Its fixed. It was the DME. The output to plug five had failed. Had a recon unit fitted and its runs like a dream. Thanks to all those who gave me advice.

DME well at least your sorted, the DME would have been my last thought, anyway now enjoy.
