1992 525i headlight replacement

I am trying to replace the passenger side headlight on my 92 BMW 525i and cannot figure out how to do so. Does this require any special tools?

No, but it is a very time consuming job considering the whole grille has to come out (center piece and both left and right plastics); download the Bentley manual at the top of this forum -- it contains the procedure on how to do this.

Folks, I'm a relatively new BMW owner of and old BMW...a 1992 525i...and new to this forum. I come hat in hand wanting to know if anyone can tell me HOW to remove the grill on the passenger side to install the new lens I have.

I have found the two screws at the top, but can see nothing at the bottom...what do I need to look for?

There's a little tab you have to push down on, on the sides of the big metal grille piece (open the hood and look down) ... they can be very hard to see and reach, but if you poke around long enough, you'll find it.
