i posted the question about a 528i last night, SORRY, made a mistake.
IT'S ACTUALLY A 525i, and NOT a 528....
somebody responded that the electrical is usually the issue with the
5-series.
are these problems usually remedied? or are they a BIG headache once
they get to that kind of an issue???
Thank you very much for anybody's input.
the seller had to jump the car, he said it needs a new battery (he'll provide)
but after driving it around, i shut it off and tried to restart it, but failed.
had to jump start it again. is this a RED FLAG already???
probably just a battery; it's going to be obvious if it is as soon as you put a new one in.
as far as other electrical problems i haven't heard of anyone having any. main problems are suspension parts which tend to wear out on older cars, but that's the price you pay for good handling.
