1990 535i air cabin filter...where is it?

I wanted to change the air cabin filter, so i removed the glove compartment like on my other bimmer....? could not find it.

Anybody knows if it is placed elsewhere on a 1990 535 ???

Thanks

a 1990 may not have a had a filter. I think they started installing them in 1991. If it does then you have to remove the glovebox, remove the climate control module and remove a plastic panel from the side of the heater panel to access it.
