Looking at a 1990 525i in great shape, with 200,500 miles and was looking for some input from any BMW owner's out there.

Thanks

Is it slow ? aye-aye
Is it reliable ? aye-aye

The thing that goes first is the suspension... thrust arm bushings and such. Other than that there is no major problems to be on the lookout for.

btw. the m20b25 engine produces very very little power under 3000 rpm.

by little power, he means no power. Plan on hitting the floor a lot

great car though, other than that I certainly have no complaints.

I take the fifth on 1/4 of a million miles unless you are good at DIY.

Wish you good luck either way
