1986 535is....Need recommendations!

I recently purchased a 1986 535is in great condition considering this car is 21 y/o. It has 153,000 mi but not a rattle. This car appears to really have been care for. It has a complete tool kit to incl. spare bulbs/ fuses. everything seems to work fine except the windshield washer does not work!! and the antenna does not retract.
I have seen several antennas on various web sites but am confused about which one fits my car. the antenna on the car looks like it has a 5 on the tip.

additionally can some tell me what size wheel/tires I can change too...it has the orig. metric on there and they are perfect..never curbed...and I would like to take them off to preserve them and poss. up- size the wheels /tires??

And last but not least I no longer own any cassette tapes therefore, I must up-grade this thing to CD. Can I just take the thing to a stereo shop and have them install a new deck. or do I need something compatible w/ the amplified speaker system?

Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.......Thanks!

I will post some pics soon......this car is really sweet!!!

The windshield washer not working, and the antenna not retracting are common. Check your fuses. I would tell you which one, but I don't have my book right yet.

Tires? 205/60/15. That's a good size. I'm running 215/60/15, which is a little bigger, but not by much. Get rid of the metric, they are too expensive to replace.

...and last, but not least, any radio shop should be able to put a deck in there. Both of my E28's have CD decks in them. Getting an adapter might take a special order, but other than that, no problem.

Welcome!
