hey i had a 1985 535i and im getting it back!!! i sold it to my anty to help pay for my dads funeral and shes selling it back for 1300 i dun know if the price is too high or anything and i dont care because you cant put a price on my dads first bimmer...anyways i was wondering what you guys knew about the car common problems etc.. please feel free to let me know what you thionk i should know about this car evn down to the bare basics..

i own one, the engine is a tank. but the front suspesnsion ( mainly thrust arms and bushings) break down. so get those checked out. they lead to a shake at high way speeds
