My right turn signal light on the dash stays illuminated when the headlights are turned on. When I engage the right turn signal it makes a really fast clicking sound-- and the lights, front and rear aren't blinking.
The bulbs look good, and do not appear to be blown. Is this a relay issue, AND is it common for the dash turn signal light to remain illuminated if something is wrong with the flashers. Phew.
Any and all help would be much appreciated as my Haynes book is worthless!
I changed all my exterior bulbs just to have new ones. But after I changed the turning signals, I tested it kinda worked like yours do. The I replaced it it, turned it and stuff... and it started to work. See, there are two resistors inside. One for side marker and the other for signal. When you install the bulb with the side marker side contacting the signal side this may happen. So, see if it will work. Good luck
