I have had car for a year (used CPO)- it runs great.
It has 45Kmi, never any probs. Just noticed that at approx 3000 to 4000 rpm (if running DS mode or Manual mode) if feel a slight hesitation as the car continues to accelerate. It really is minor as the car performs extremely well.
It is still under full warranty. Should I have them check something specific?
Thanks in advance.
thats right about when vanos should kick in, so you may mention that to them, does it seem like then engine is bogging for a little bit or does it seem like the transmission is slipping?
Thanks for responding. Does not seem like transmission, just minor engine bog. Maybe I am too picky, I don't often drive in sports mode or manual - but it is fun sometimes to push a little. Car is awsome even after a year and 17K miles!
Might be worth getting the petrol pump looked at, but only if its doing it when your pushing a bit harder which is y Im guessing its in Sports mode, had the same problem on a 93 525 and was the fuel pump. But obviously your ones a lot newer and alot less k's.
Happens on 330s sometimes as well. Can be the fuel pump, especially if you let the tank go under 1/4 tank often (weakness in these 3.0 M54s). Also, since you are under warranty, check with the dealer for any firmware updates.
