01 525i OBC low beam failure after HID install

I recently install a HID kit on my 01' 525i. After install, my low beam failure would display only when the lights were off. However, I also had a problem with one bulb firing on a cold start. I ordered a relay kit in hopes of correcting both problems. Now my cold starts are not a problem but now my low beam failure is always on. Whether my lights are on or off. What could be the problem?

I also get the "low beam failure" displayed but it goes away after a few seconds. It's stored on your memory bank until you turn the car off.
The reason for this is because HID's require less voltage. Bavauto.com sells a kit that gets rid of the problem ($120, I think).
In your case, check the connections again.
