M3 E36 suspension set up

Can anyone recommend a good suspension set up
Don't really need coilovers but want the car to sit low and handle well

Also does it matter on the profile of front and back tyres- eg my M3's got 40's on the back and 45's on the front but i want to put 40's all round.
Will it make the handle or steering less responsive and also why do BMW M3's have this- just brought my M3 so am a bit lacking knowledge- Thanx
