Eric S. is on a distinguished road
Was at the local 1/4-mile dragstrip last Friday nite, and it was "street night" (run what ya brung). I saw a Honda Civic run in the 11's and multiple Hondas (two old CRX's) run in the 12's. The scary thing about them was that they weren't totally "riced out" at all, and if they hadn't had the big M&H tires in the front, they'd be easy to overlook on the street. Maybe a primer body panel here or there, but that was it.

Funny how the ricier the Hondas and Acuras got, the slower times they ran. Maybe the add-ons really weigh them down...

BTW, there were many new GTOs, most looked totally stock, and they consistently ran mid-to-upper 13's. WRXs were there also running 13's.
