Convertible top problem

E36, 320i convertible

Yesterday, while working on the car I managed to get the hood stuck. Did the normal thing and popped the motor back into position and now the hood works fine again, but the cover (the plastic thing that covers the hood when folded) seems disconnected to the motor. I found the wire pull cables and sortof understand how the system works, but I can't seem to get the problem fixed. I can move the cover manually, so I am now stuck with a half manual, half electric system.

Anybody any suggestions for that?

Mathijs
