Interesting response from Germany

As I mentioned before , I`ve joined recently BMW FORUM in Germany to get some answers.Today I got response from Mr.Pelsi and I will quote him below:

"I´m working in the BMW Plant Munich since 1983 . Since 1986 i´m working in the Engine Assembly as a tribologic service mechanic for machines . In the Engine Assembly we need two oils for our engines :

Six , Eight , V10 and V12 engines filled up with Castrol TWS 10 W 60 ...

V8 diesel engines filled up with Castrol 0 W 30 ...

It´s a logistic problem when you need more then two oils for a Engine Assembly . We produce over 1200 Engines per day . This is more than 7000 liter oil per day and 35000 liter per week ."
