You might be missing the button that turns on the cruise control. It is a button on the wood trim, just to the right of the steering column. This should illuminate the green cruise light. you got it first and said it better. :P Anyway, thats how you do it, although I have to press the + button on mine to set the speed. The little speedo arrow thing doesnt set the speed/ used maybe its a 97 thign or something. Or its broken
