Mine doesnt fit and i am going to ill somebody, I havt been able to drive my car for 8 months and now this happens. M3 motowerks sent me this POS from Cwings dont buy from them
my CF hood from VIS was ok, a few flaws but otherwise it turned out ok, the trunk on the other hand is a totally different ballgame, you can see my product review a few threads below this one.
May or may not apply here but I bought a Fiberglass hood for my '72 Chevelle years ago, and they had replacement springs that have a LOT less tension on them than the factory ones did. They said in their catalog that they wouldnt warranty the hood if the factory ones were used.
I was just wondering if you could take one of the hood shocks off, or if they offer a "reduced" shock for their hoods. :dunno
Good idea bull, i personally dont have my shocks on ,im too lazy to go get a blow set from my mechanic.. Del get a set of blown ones, they just might be the right resistance to keep the hood up without using excessive force to close it.
Did you have the CF hood painted? That hood doens't fit too badly. However, as a discerning customer, I would not be happy. You wanted perfection and you paid for perfection.
I think anyone who buys a CF hood knows the risks, if not you have ot be pretty stupid. Always ask for proper fitament, a warranty against bad fitting, a warranty against fading or discoloring, and rolled egdes!
did you say the hinges tore out!!!? can they eaven legally sell SHIT like that? wow . talk about shmucks that sell that crap to customers. how unhuman.
