oh yeah, you could definitly make a nice peice, i also have connections with a machinist. He made my clutch stop actually, really easy and all i know but he made it look really good! not that it mattered a whole lot since no one can ever see it, but you know. I have considered having him make me one, but i think a polished alloy brace would be alittle more pleasing to the eye. But if you wanted to make your own you could definitly make sure it is strong and buff! I kinda want a polished one thats brand name just to add to my car, because whether your custom peice is made well or not, it will never get as much respect as a good name brand peice would. Just a fact, like my custom clutch stop doesn't sound too impressive, but if i had a UUC clutch stop or some other brand then it sounds alittle hyped up, ya know. But by all means make your own, i'd like to see it when it's finished if you do make your own. Best of luck!

I may go with the plain looking one in bavauto since its a one peice and fairly cheap, but it doesn't look all that impressive to me. Still thinking on it. I saw the "strong" ones too, they are nice but still just not what i'm looking for, anyone have any other suggestions?
