Hot Sauce is an unknown quantity at this point
yellow engine oil mark...

when i shut the engine off it shows the yellow check engine oil mark..
i read the manuel and says that i need to add oil or something.. if that's the case? what kind of oil does it need.. is this something that happens often? i mean i only drove the car about 7000 miles and have 6500 miles before services.... i drive a 05 330xi....

in the uk we can use...

castrol slII long life......

or just goto the dealership...the oil isnt that expensive from there

It sounds like you left the lights on and the battery went flat by leaving overnight it built up enough charge to start the car. When it was cranking the battery voltage went low enough to store a voltage fault and put the trans light on now you’re using the car it has charged the battery so no more warning lights the oil useage will settel down with use

i added oil that i bought from the dealership and everything seems fine.. so far... thank you all..

yellow is low level, red is low pressure. i think this is in u.s. cars though. not sure about euro, canada.

they can use a quart every 5-8 k. if that is it, and not increasing, i'd leave it alone...
