I have 02 325ci, and want xenon projector headlights, wandering if any xenon headlights from an E46 would fit. I found a pair on ebay but it's from an M3, don't know would it fit, and is there any difference if it came out of an M3 or 3 series. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I asked the same thing quite awhile ago and didnt get a definite answer, but i believe the answer is yes. It is a very costly, time consuming, and troublesome thing to do.
Here is a link to a DIY for Bi-xenon shutter installs, basically tells you what you are looking at....
Yes, the M3 headlights should bolt right into your car. However, when you turn them on, they may flicker for the first 30 seconds and then act normal. They will do this everytime you turn them on. This is because the car needs to be programmed for have Xenon lights which can only be done at the dealer and should only cost about $45.
bav auto has an intake that says "not for cars with xenon headlights" or somthing like that. so if you have a different than stock intake it might not fit.
