I sent my bmw in for a headlamp control module crap? replacement. After they fixed it and as I was on my way home the right xenon light burns out.

I was pissed because those things dont go out and they are really expensive, luckily it was still under warranty. So they installed a new one and as I got home to check it out, I noticed they did not look the same? the one they gave me was a yellowish color and the one I have was a nice white color? So I went back once again and they told me it takes a month to break in the headlight. I am not sure if that is true but i think thats BS. If any of you know that would be a lot of help. thanks.

It is actually true the xenon lights "burn in" to acheive the correct color spectrum. If after about a month the colors are still very different I would take it back again and complain.

A typical Xenon lamp requires approx. 100 hours of on time to "burn-in" as previously explained....give the new bulbs some time...they should be just fine
