would these rims fit my bimmer ??

i have a 2003 325i .... and ive looked on rimsandtires.com for settings BUT .. the site aka e-bay with the rims i want to get says they wont fit my bimmer ... i take it ill have problems turning becuz of a .6mm for the 205 tire or 1.1mm total for the 215 tire ?????

rims im pursueing ..... 17 x 8 rim ... offset 30mm

tires im lookin to get ... 215/40's ... or 205/40's

i understand a 2003 bmw has a tire offset of +45 ... so i cant go as low as 30 ??

the rimsandtires.com told me 205/55/16 .... these rims im trying to put on are actually smaller according to the site if i use 205's of choice by .6mm on both sides of the tires

are you lowered this would be useful to know because then i can help suggest a tire size. and 17x8 et30 will fit your car. also a 215/40 and a 205/40 will also both fit an 8" wheel, but unless youre planning on being low i would not suggest a tire that small.

definately not lowering my car ... just got a good deal on a set of rims .. but the manual of a 2003 325i says 35mm is the lowest offset u can go with without problems .. thought i would have to buy spacers ... and i understand its going to stick out 15mm past my fender .. thats kinda what i want .. but also kinda hoping i can still turn without rubbing occuring .... most likely going with the 215/40 or 45 ratio .. just so i can use my oem rim as a backup with no off balance terrain while driving

Tell me the exact size you have on the vehicle right hen check the drivers door to confirm they were not chnaged before you bought the vehicle, I will give you the max you can tuck without all that spacer crap and also all that falls in between

there is no way offset 30 at stock height will rub even with a 45 series tire.

I'm current running this as my winter set up....

17x8 et20 with 225/45 R17 Blizzaks on them. i am lowered on coilovers and dont rub at all front or back.

My summer set up is much more aggressive on offset but that doesn't pertain to your question in anyway since youre not planning on going low so i'll just give you the info for my winter set up

thanks ... appreciate that ... i got a set of multi-chrome 17x8 beyern rims for $202 sold thru a discount outlet on ebay and a set of nankang's being sold close by for $130 for a full set with 70% tread on all tires ... which is a kick-a55 deal when these rims are being sold around $300 PER RIM on ebay and $1200 a set on any rim site.
