Winter Wheels and Tires for a 2004 330i with Sport Package

Hi,

living in Chicago, and with all the recent snow, I *MUST* break down and get a set of winter snow wheels/tires.

First preference is a set of used wheels/ties.

I have located a set of 17 inch "Contour" wheels and tires. Small low res pic is attached.

Question: Would these wheels (17") and tires (225/45R17) work on the car?

Tried Tire Rack and they seem to no longer carry the 16 inch steel wjheel that I read would fit my car. Any ideas as to why they no longer carry it? If they do still carry it, can someone confirm if they will work? Searching thru their site, it seems they do not have any steel wheels that will fit.

Aside from the above, does anyone have any suggestions as to what would work?

well first off you need to ensure that the bolt pattern is the proper one. I believe the 330i Sport has the 5x120.....the next question is the offset and I believe the max offset that can be used on your car is 42mm.....so with that established is what is the bolt pattern and offset of the wheels you found

I can almost guarantee you the will, my dad used the same wheels on both an e46 330ci sport package and an e46 m3, I actually have a set in the basement of my parents house that I can sell if these don't work out. I would Double check the specs to make sure they are correct for the car.
