Theirs 3 fuses for the wipers, as well as a relay under the hood. Fuses #49, 52, 59. Pull the relay and clean the contacts and see if that helps.
If not, there is a disk inside the wiper motor. Greasy residue sometimes interferes with the position of the wiper. Someone with INPA (BMW software) can pull the trouble codes and see what they say. The GM5 module controls the windshield wipers.

Thanks a ton! Turns out there is no fuse in position 59. Unfortunately I purchased the car used and there is not an owner's manual with it.
I haven't been able to locate a fuse diagram with a fuse labeling and amperage for the fuses. Any idea what amperage the #59 fuse should be? Thanks again all!
