I have a 2000 323Ci s/p p/p (unsure if that matters or not) and I am wanting to replace my wipers (just the blades). I like the ones that are currently on there, but I do not know what type/brand they are. Any suggestions on which brands and types are the best to use. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I completely agree with you, but I'm not sure what kind they used for stock. I would like to get the exact same kind, but have no clue what kind they are. Thanks guys for the replies.
I was at Shucks this weekend looking for new wiper blades for my 2001 and I think you have to go through the dealer. Neither the Shucks computer nor the Bosch book had listings for anything later than 1998 in the 3-series.
If your car is still under warranty...the dealership should replace them for free. However, I am betting your out of warranty. Your other option... Talk to the parts department at you local dealership. All the dealerships I have been to (3 now...I move around a lot) will sell you whatever parts you want and won't force you to have them install it. They may even let slip who teh manufacturer is so you can order them from someone else. (I only say this because sometimes the parts clerk is a disenfranchised teenager who gives a crap about the dealerships profit margin)
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm going to swing on by the dealership today and pick up some new floor mats and look at the wind shield wipers. I got my new Escort Passport 8500 X50 Blue in the mail today, so I'm going to test her out on the mean streets

I was at the dealer today and picked up two replacement blades. They're $8.50 each and are just the rubber part. The old rubber part slides out, you take the metal ribs out of it, put them in the new one, and slide it back in.
Looking at the rubber parts they're likely the same as any other replacement rubber insert you'd get at NAPA/Shucks/whatever. At $8.50 each though they are surprisingly reasonable in price from the dealer!
