Windshield Chip

I have to drive on the highway to and frm work every day, so getting chips in my windsheild is inevitable. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to repair tiny chips from flying stones? I found some repair kits online, but has anyone used anything that works well? Thanks.

I have used the repair kit with a syringe and a suction cup from Pep Boys to stop a chip and small crack from spreading. But I have not seen one that repairs the glass to like new status.

I got a large chip with no crack in my windshield and the auto glass shop polished it out. Not as good as new but not bad. The chip was not in my line of vision so they polished it out. I didn't even get charged. They said "just get your next windshield from us" which I will.
