what is the widest rear wheel and front wheel i can put on my 330ci?? and what size rim? i wanna go 8.5 front and 9.5 or 10 in the rear... thanks in advance.
how come some M3s have 10 inches in the rear? are da fenders bigger? da biggest rim i would go is 18....if i go 18 can i go 9.5 or 10? i want a big lip in the rear... haha
without any modifications, you can put on 9 wide for the rears if you're gonna go with 18's. with 19's, you will need to make rear fender modifications or in other words, rolling out your fenders.
if you roll out your fenders, then you can put on 9.5 or 10 wide
since u guys said i can go 8.5 or 9 inches in da back, i was wondering if its possible to have a 2 inch lip on the rims....if so wat would be the offset? i like the deep dish look in the back tires on bmws...
Ok, here is the deal. E46's can accommidate a 9"front wheel and a 10" rear with no problems. The key is not width but offset. You can try to put a 6.5 inch widewheel on there too, but without the right offset it wont fit either. There are plenty of good options out there, you need a front wheel with a 44-47mm offset, and a rear wheel with a 44-47 as well.
so wit da offsets u listed will there be a lip? i mean heres da look im goin for, da first pic da black bimmer... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/267211 wat would be the offset? if i were to go wit 18 inch rims to get that lip, imean it looks soo tight to me...
hey i have 19x9 in the front, and 19x10 in the rear, without rolling my fenders, and never rub, they ar breyton visions. Running 235 series up front and 265 in the rear

Hey "Bert Smith"... got a question.
Two different rim company is offering me a different set up... first one, Front 19x8.5 235/35R & Rear 19x10 265/30R. Second one, Front 19x8.5 235/35R & Rear 19x9.5 265/30R. How do I calculate the offset of these set up. Please let me know.
Oh yeah, I have 2003 330i ZHP... please let me know... thanks
I dont know the offset, The car is not lowered, but it will be soon, and it has the sport suspension. The wheels are Breyton's which are BMW specific, so i am sure that they designed an offset that was optimal for clearance. I will post pics up soon, i have been at work everyday so it gets tough.
