why DSC and Brake indicator warning on??

Does any one know the symtoms for which the DSC and brake indicator yellow light lit.
I have been driving this 2001, 330ci with these indicators on the for 3 weeks now. and just wondering what is wrong with it.
Any kind of inputs will be greatly appreciated...

normally this means that the dsc and all its surrogates are off. normally, theses functions come on again as the car is started, and lights go off.

what you have probably indicates that the electrinic minders are buggered. dealer visit i think.

I read that in the manual, they need to be checked by the dealer.

i think this is right, this is a fault with the dsc. dealer. obviously you are able to still drive ot, but i woudl take care of this asap. the electronic brain may cut fuel or some such evil thing....
