Hi guys,
I am new to this site. I looked through the FAQs and the search but no luck.. just wondering why some models have the clear corners and others don't.. i have a 2001 330cia that has it, but i've seen tons that don't??? Any explanation of this would be helpful..
haha.. hell no.... I think it makes a huge diff. with the clear corners. I know that the new ones all come with them, but i have seen, or thought i've seen cars with the sport package and the premium package but no clear corners.. It took me a while to find a used one with clear corners.
I know the clear is much nicer... thats why I bought them. I hated the orange corners, side markers, and tail lights. I will be taking pics of the mods I have done to Beam and will be posting them within a couple days
Ya thats what I thought.. the sport package doesn't have anythng to do with the clear corners??? :S.. Anyone else know why some have the clear corners??
Just wanted to confirm/clarify what jdmfan13 wrote. The clear corners come with the Performance and Sport Packages in the 2004+ models. (you can get one or the other) I'm not sure about models < 2004. However, you have to get one of those two packages to get the clear corners in the new models. Personally, I think they add class to the car. Not to mention, people "in the know" know that you have one of those two packages, if it's a new car.
My 330xi had the sport package but didn't come with clear corners. I think the XI sport package is a rip off now that I think about it. I get different wheels, but not bigger wheels. No clear corners and no suspension changes. For what, $1000 I think? Kind of annoyed now.
