Nfsplayer n00b Join Date: Aug 2010 Car: Posts: 3 Photos:	whistling noise coming from engine Hello today when i was driving i heard whistling noise coming from engine. It usually start's when RMP get's over 2. Sound's like it coming from alternator. What could it be? it's 2001 bmw 325i. Last edited by Nfsplayer; 08-20-2010 at 12:37 PM.

Numark318i W00T Join Date: May 2004 Location: Rohnert Park, CA Car: 1991 E30 318i 2008 E92 328i Posts: 2,714 Photos:	Check vacuum lines, the snugness of your air filter box (does it seal) and also check the bearings in your belts tensioner. That is what made the noise in my 330. Replaced both tensioners and no more noise. __________________
