Hey folks,

I have a 2000 3 series, with a weird whine when I have the gas pedal at a certian position (maybe an inch down). It doesn't matter what speed I'm going, or what gear I'm in. I can hear the whine coming from under the hood. Is this possibly a fuel pump? Anyone else ever have this problem?

thanks!
