What gives, is this normal? When did you guys have to take yours in?
Thx! |
What do you mean "down to 8K", did the dealers call you? I would just take it in anyway, oil change and all other normal things are free within 50K, except for tires, I think.

What you probably mean is that the change oil showed you to do it at 15K and now it shows you at 8K......that could be because the computer initially calculates a standard 15K from your last oil change. Then it depends on your driving....if youre driving in harsh climates (hot or cold).....lots of stop and go traffic (city driving)........unecessary clutching or accelerating.....the computer recaculates the milage require for an oil change. So its normal sometimes.
Also as someone said as long as the oil changes are free just go get it done. It never hurts to get an oil change done and keeps the car running smoothly for about 50 bucks....its worth it.
