after ppl mentioning I should check my wheel bearings because of a weird "whining" oscillating noise I hear during high speed turning, I am curious as to what exactly it is. This is the first time I have come across this term. pardon me for being such a n00b, finally exploring the innards and things that make my car go ^_^
