BMW hasn't made 325iX (upper-case X, yes, there is no such thing as a 325ix with a lower-case 'x') vehicles since 1989, I believe. That is just what they called their AWD 3 Series back then.

Starting with the AWD sedan in 2001, BMW started using the -xi suffix, this time with a lower-case 'x'

Thank you so much! That makes more sense than I thought it would. I only joined this forum because I that question was driving me nuts, but I'm sure I'll come back here for other things. I'm already a member of the 318ti.org forum and they're real good about answering ti specific questions. Thanks again!
