What's Your Mpg Or L/100km?

Just picked up a slightly used 2004 325i (11,000km 5 speed), I am amazed at how much she likes to drink. I only averaged 10.9L/100km on my first full tank, that's 21.6 US-MPG in mixed urban/hwy driving. It has been pretty cold here (Ottawa Canada), what is your average?

I almost never move from 10.0L / 100km, in a 2001 330Ci - I'd say about 60/40 highway/city, and I like to step on the gas a little harder a few times a day... Happen to be living down in Waterloo, Canada - but was originally from Ottawa - back to visit 5-6 times a year - great city!

Hi ! I live in Vancouver B.C and own 323 i 1999 50 000 km ( low milage), I drive every day 3 km to work and this baby takes 15L/100 km , but probably because engine is always cold.

My car is horrible as well.. if i baby it i will get around 12l/100 but its usually more around 13l/100 and i do about 65/25 city/hwy.

I think these cars are really bad in the city.

I’m in Ottawa. I’ve had my ’02 325xiT for about a month. 4km trips to work with a car that never warms up is getting me 15l/100km. I’m hoping to get below 10l/100km on highway driving someday.

How are your windows? I haven’t been able to get them down for over a week.

highway is even better than you think , when I drive no more than 110km/h Iget below 8 liters/100km !

Living in the USA, mainly highway travel, running normally at 30+mpg in my E46 328i automatic. That's 7.8L/100km. Though I have hit as high as ~32mpg (7.4L/100km)

Currently, since the resetting of my DME, I'm running at 27mpg (8.7L/100km) until my tranny gets re-aquainted with my driving style.

Perhaps it's because it's been so cold here over the last 2 weeks, hopefully I can average 9L/100km... if you guys are getting 10 or better with a 330, I should get better... you'd think anyways...
