What kind of tires should I get for my 2002 325Ci w/ Sport Package?
I had a tire blowout last night and used my full sized spare. I know the Michelin Pilot HX tires that goes on the car are really expensive. They are sized P225/45/R17 tires and go for about $200+ each.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for an alternative that won't cost so much? Also, where do you recommend I get them?
I'm real happy with my BFG Traction T/A High Performance All-Season. I have 225/50/R17, and they ran about $135 a copy.
You really shouldn't mismatch tread design, though. One design may channel water more efficiently than the other, and could give you a pull to one side or the other in bad weather conditions.
