Bottom line: if you can afford a BMW, get one. Same goes for Audi.

If you can't afford a German luxury car, then the G35 is the next best thing.

Yes, I've driven a G35 Coupe (6MT)....they are nice. I love to listen to the sound of the exaust....so cool.

Reality check: The 330i is a much better choice, hands down.

I would NEVER choose an Infinity over a BMW.
Our neighbors have the new Infinity M45. Yes, it is nice. But there is no WAY it is better than the e60 525i.

The G35 ain't exactly cheap. The difference between a loaded G35X and a loaded 330xi can't be more than a couple thousand dollars.

The 05 g35's interior is alright, but the other previous years are just plain CHEAP.

I do love the exhaust note of the g35 though.. there is nothing else that sounds quite like it.

I'd still rather own an audi or bmw before i bought an infinity though.

M models are on a different playing field. That said, the G35 is a great vehicle. Nissan makes very good product. However, Japanese manufacturers have their roots in producing vehicles for the American public. BMW has been designing for the driver for years. I still like BMWs better.

One more thing: the list of things shown in that webpage is not untrue. That is actually a superset of the things that are listed on the book that is provided to BMW salespeople, so that they know what they are going up against. The thing is that nobody buys a barebones BMW. Add a package or two, and a few more things, and you have all those options for not much more.
