Hello all, I'm a newbie looking to buy my first BMW. Great site by the way! I'm in the market for a 325xi with most of the bells and whistles; premium package, heated seats, moonroof, manual tranny, etc.
Everywhere I've researched I keep coming up around $36,000. I've read here and at other sites I should shoot for between $200 and $500 over dealer invoice which sould put me around $33K. Am I being realistic in my expectations of paying $33K instead of $36K or more?
Has anyone here recently purchased a loaded 2004 325xi and if so what did you pay?
I just bought a 2001 325xi for 22K with ALLLLL the bells and whistles except the kitchen sink .............a brand new with all the options I have at the BMW dealership near me the vehicle would be sold for no less than 35, 500 after much haggling......the market price is around 37, 850. So I would imagine 33K for a xi with all options is a tad bit optimistic........but hey if yu get a deal like that take it in a jiffy........lemm know if you have any questions reagrding the car as such. Ciao buddy and welcome to the ultimate experience!
Thanks gang I appreciate the assistance. I bought a 325xi w/titanium silver metalic paint, manual transmission, 2.5L 6 cyl., premium package (incl. moonroof, auto-dimming mirror, dark wood trim, power seats, on-board computer, BMW assist), leather upholstery, xenon headlights, fold down rear seats, heated front seats, and h-k sound system for $500 below invoice.
I'll pick up the car in a few days after it's delivered (at no extra charge) from another dealer in New England. The wife and I are very excited to own our first BMW and look forward to many miles of driving pleasure.
