| Today I installed the Conforti software into my 2002 330xi and was sceptical I would notice much change. I have to say, the car is noticeably peppier than before, got to say I love it; but very very hard to keep from apply a heavy foot to the accelerator. It takes my 225 engine up to a 235 engine and I'm surprised at how much a difference it makes.
One of the reasons I did it was to get better gas mileage out of the increased horsepower, but I suspect the gas mileage will be worse as I drive the car "more aggressively."
I'm scheduled for a track day in about 5 days from now and I'm looking forward to it.
So my recommendation on the Conforti software upgrade - go for it! |
