Weird A/C Problem

I have a really weird problem that just started about a week ago with my '05 325ci. My A/C is blowing nice and cold out of the driver side vents, but the air is warm coming out of the passenger side vents. This is really really weird (to me). How can this be happening? Almost like there's a compressor for each side (please say there's not). Has this happened to anybody else? I sure hope you can give me an idea of what's going on!

From what I've read, this is pretty common. I guess it has to do with the location of the condenser?

In any case, I've read that getting your 134 refilled will fix it.

I've never had this problem so I can't vouch either way, but that's what I've heard.
