The Wave

I'm thinkin that all BMW drivers or at least the ones that drive the same series should wave at each other, just as a friendly symbol seeing that you both have somthing in common. So if u see a bimmer or ur same series start up "the wave".

in the bmw mini handbook...it suggests doing this to other mini drivers

when i had my mini i waved to all other bmw mini drivers

was really fun,,nice good spirited and gave a good calming effect.

It's normal in the Midwest. Just to wave at anyone. But I try and do it here sometimes, and they look at me like I've got a second head.

I drive a motorcycle as well as my Bimmer and most motorcyclists will give a small wave out of courtesy. It's a bit tougher in a car though. I think a little flash of the lights might be more appropriate than trying to roll down the window and wave every time you see another Bimmer. Good idea though. It's like the Bimmer Brotherhood.

NOTE: I hate to say that there are a lot of BMW drivers who are, well...uh...let's just say they're not exactly car enthusiasts (ie, the 40 year-old housewives driving the 750iL's and X5's that almost run me off the road on my motorcycle).
