Want to remove my Business Cd Player - BMW Forum

so I can install my Stereo that has my Sirius built in, any suggestions on how to get the factory stereo out?

Yeah. You need a special tool. I went to my local BMW dealership and they removed it for FREE! Took em' 30 seconds. Or you can buy the tool off of ebay and do it yourself. When you get the Business CD player out, sell it on Ebay. They go for around $350.00!!!! Check for yourself.

Does this mean I can buy a sony or another car stereo that plays mp3 cd's etc and hook it up in my 325- 2001 just like any other car?

Yes, but you'll need a fascia plate convertor, and some convertor leads too. Don't forget the convertor to make your steering wheel buttons work too.

These guys are very good for Blaupunkt, and all the adaptors and bits:

Wonder if they sell one of those adapters for a Kenwood CD player, I hated replacing my factory and losing the steering wheel controls, but I could not be without my sirius! Any ideas where to check?
