VR6 vs 323i

Hey guys, I was wondering what your opinions were on which is a better car: a '00 VW VR6 w/ 80,000 miles or a '99 323i w/ 125,000 miles. I recently traded my VR6 for my dad's old 323i with no regrets but what do you guys think.

Quality is in the build and owners care...not a name....there are some terrible BMW's out there...

honestly i say its a tossup..but ultimately the decision is yours...you are happy, and you say you have no regrets...so why did you start a thread? lol

Sorry the VR6 is a jetta. Haha, yes I am happy but I admire your guys opions as well. I guess another question is which will last longer. The VR6 was driven harder than the BMW and I've heard VWs have problems past 80K but then again the BMW does have 120K! And what about comparing engines, I don't know much about cars but I'm very interested. I know inlines are better than V6's but I read somewhere that the VR6 is pretty different than other V6's, any thoughts?
