Vibration problem on my e46

I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me. I have this excessive vibration on my E46 when running on idle. This vibration is eliminated when revving up above 1300 rpm or cruising. A friend of mine ran a diagnostic test on my car and it shows the ff errors:

1. glow plugs needs replacement
2. glow relay errors
3. low pressure on common rail during start up.

Could this be the cause of the vibration?

BTW my car is e46 320d 2004 model.

I think the common rail pressure issue may play a role. I doubt that the glow plugs issue would; this would cause difficulty in starting the engine. Maybe a clogged injector keeps a cylinder from getting enough fuel.

I don't know much about the deisel stuff but if your have a MAFS that could be causing it run funny.

Thanks for the reply. I tried changing the right engine mount thinking that was the cause (the car is a little jumpy on the right side when running). It did stop the vibration a bit but not totally. The old mount looks 'soft' as compared to the new one probably because of the shaking it endured. Aside from that it seemed to look alright. As to the low pressure fault, I changed the fuel regulating valve, now fault is gone. Now I'm thinking that the vibration might be caused by faulty injector causing one of the cylinders not to fire. There is also an associated noise from engine that is why I thought this is the cause. Funny thing is, the rpm looks stable on idle, wouldn't it fluctuate when one cylinder is not firing? Anyone?

I had the same problem on my '99 323 with excessive vibration during idle. It turned out I had 2 bad ignition coils causing it to fire on only 4 instead of 6. Replaced the coils and the boots and all was well.
