Vibration inside.

Hello everyone,
I am a recent BMW owner.
I have a 2001, black with beige, 330I with 27000 miles.

For the last few weeks, I am observing the following problem:
- when I drive below 20 mph, the steering wheel shakes a-little and the drive feels like it has flat tire.
- when I drive above 60 mph, the passanger seat vibrates alot. It makes that annoying virating noise. No vibration in the steering wheel though.

My car is still under warranty. Need some help to resolve this problem.

perhaps tires need to be rotated or rebalance tires as for the seat probably the bolts are loose check bolts that hold seat down and any other underneith there. otherwise take to dealer if under warranty

You could have a bent wheel rim. It would be especially noticible if it's a front rim, less so on the rear.

One good pothole can do it, and it's hard to tell by looking at the rim. The outside can look just fine, but usually the inner side is what takes the brunt of the impact.

Any dealer or tire store can put your tire on a balancing machine, and if it's bent you'll be able to see the wobble when they spin it.

I had my tires checked at Discount Tire and they found out that one of my rear tire was going bald. So, I replaced that bad one with my spare and vola, my BMW runs smooth like butter again
